Tell, Don’t Sell to Local Offline Business Owners

That’s right, tell them what you will do for them. Tell them you can improve traffic to their website or business. Show them sample case study articles of other businesses that have used e-mail marketing services and improved their bottom line. I posted an article in my forum www.offlineisagoldmine.com the other day that you can use.

Show them video’s on other businesses like theirs that are getting views. They are missing that traffic that should be theirs. They are leaving money on the table by not utilizing video marketing. You can find these video’s either by using youtube or searching that type of business and video as keyword in Google.

Tell the local business owner that you can raise the site on Google by using Search Engine Optimization, thus gaining more traffic to the site. Therefore,more sales into the business.  Teach them they need to be there. You can useGoogle Adwords to check the average search volume for their keyword and main location. That’s where they need to be found.

Show and explain ways to increase their business. Every single service you offer you must explain that they are trackable, permission based and targeted. Ask them what advertising they are doing now that is proven as a success that is certified as trackable, targeted and permission based? I bet they can’t answer you.

You can make money with offline businesses if you are contacting at minimum a few daily. If you are not reaching out and trying to contact a business owner you are not making money. Every no you get is one step closer to a yes.

Go collect a check for goodness sake and start making a great offline consulting business for yourself.
